FISHING

Stanage Bay has to be either the best fishing spot on the Queensland coastline or one of the prime fishing localities in Queensland. It is the ideal location for that special fishing, crabbing and boating holiday and having our choice of accommodation available will ensure that your holiday will live up to your expectations.

CRABBING

The estuaries at Stanage Bay provide the ideal mud crab breeding environment and therefore an ideal crabbing area. Set your pots and go fishing - collect your crab catch on the way in.

Absolutely perfect. But please adhere to all the rules for bag size etc to ensure the future of such an amazing area.

WILDLIFE

Watch the whales cruising past on their way north and on their return journey south.  There is an abundance of wildlife on the 100 km journey through the cattle properties.  Animals and birds in their natural habitats. A photographers paradise.
